John Miller- Bassoon master class at UTPA on Wednesday
John Miller, principal bassoonist of the Minnesota Orchestra, will give a bassoon master class Wed. April 13 from 4:00-6:00 pm at the UT Pan American (Edinburg) choir room (Fine Arts building, room 111). The master class is free of charge. Well-prepared bassoonists who would like to perform for Mr. Miller are asked to contact Dr. Carol McNabb Goodwin by Tues. 4/12 at 5:00 pm at carol.mcnabb@utb.edu to receive a time. Spots are limited, so please reply early for the best chance to play.
Mr. Miller will be performing the Mozart bassoon concerto with the Valley Symphony on Thurs. Apr. 14 at 8:00 pm at the UTPA Fine Arts Auditorium. Ticket information is online at valleyorchestra.org. The dress rehearsal is open to the public on Wed. Apr. 13 at 7:00 pm for a charge of $5.00.
